CAMBODIA WATER FESTIVAL 2023 CELEBRATION

The Water Festival, one of Cambodia’s most popular annual events, has attracted a record 4.9 million visitors to the capital this year. The three-day event celebrates the reversal of the Tonle Sap River, which connects the Tonle Sap Lake to the Mekong River. Visitors come to enjoy traditional boat races, firework displays, live music, and the traditional Khmer dances that take place at the festival. There are also food stalls, craft vendors, and a variety of fun activities for the whole family to enjoy.
